Care & patch test

This Damask Rose (Gulab) and Saffron (Kesar) soap bar is suitable for everyday use for Normal to Combination skin types.

 

PATCH TEST is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product on your inner elbow/jawline and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product to your face. If the skin is sensitive, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the product and consult a dermatologist.

Disclaimer

Juicy Chemistry products are safe for use during pregnancy and nursing. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, it’s always recommended to check with your medical practitioner before introducing new products to your routine.

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your skin may go under a detox before you start observing results. This detox period is commonly referred to as Skin Purge which results in a temporary acne flare-up.

The skin purge period varies from individual to individual and can last up to 4 to 6 weeks.

Should you continue using the product if your skin purges?

Yes, you can continue to use the product if it's skin purge and not an allergic reaction. Eventually, you'll notice the skin starts clearing out between the 4th to 6th week.

We would recommend consulting a dermatologist to check if it’s a skin purge or a reaction.

Additional Notes

While cleansing, be careful and avoid getting the product inside the eyes as it might sting. Please refer to our tutorial for a better understanding.

Since our soaps are completely free from preservatives, they should be used within 6 months of opening.

Packaging with new label (as shown in the display images) will be available for order soon.

 

We all are unique and so is our skin. It is possible that an ingredient may not suit everyone alike and one may develop an allergic reaction in certain cases. Yes. Essential oils are used within dermal limits and allergen levels (calculated as per IFRA standards) are well under the set forth percentage.

What is the shelf life of this product?

Shelf life is 9 months from manufacturing and 6 months from opening.

Why this source?

Our Damask Rose(Gulab) comes from Bulgaria because it offers the ideal temperature and soil conditions for the best quality of roses. For this reason, Bulgaria is also known as 'Gullestan' (land of roses). 

Our Geranium Essential Oil comes from Bulgaria because it provides the ideal sub-tropical climate and well-drained porous soils for this flower to bloom beautifully. 

Our Saffron(Kesar) comes from India because of its high concentration of carotenoids (antioxidant) and superior quality.

Why this formulation?

Antioxidants like Carotenoids help neutralize free radical damage and promote healthier skin. 

Essential Fatty Acids like Palmitic acid help balance sebum and nicely cleanse the pores. They also make this soap super-fatted, which allows it to replenish the skin lipids compromised during cleansing.

But find your shampoos are now different in the texture . Lighter & lathering more than the originals which actually used get solidified when you opened a new bottle & lathered less.
