Care & patch test

This moisturiser is suitable for everyday use and is recommended for All Skin Types (Not for acne-prone skin).

PATCH TEST is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product on your inner elbow/jawline and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product to your skin. If the skin is sensitive, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the product and consult a dermatologist.

Juicy Chemistry products are safe for use during pregnancy and nursing. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, it’s always recommended to check with your medical practitioner before introducing new products to your routine.

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your skin may go under a detox before you start observing results. This detox period is commonly referred to as Skin Purge which results in a temporary acne flare-up.

The skin purge period varies from individual to individual and can last up to 4 to 6 weeks.

Should you continue using the product if your skin purges?

Yes, you can continue to use the product if it's skin purge and not an allergic reaction. Eventually, you'll notice the skin starts clearing out between the 4th to 6th week.

We would recommend consulting a dermatologist to check if it’s a skin purge or a reaction.

Additional Notes

Our organic body butters are preservative-free. It is advisable to store them away from moisture or any kind of water contamination.

Scoop out the butter only on dry and clean palms/utensils. Secure the cap tightly after each use.

Use these butters within 6 months from opening.

During high temperatures, the pure butters in the product tend to melt. You may refrigerate the butter to regain the desired consistency, but DO NOT put them in the FREEZER.

Texture changes in 100% organic products happen naturally under fluctuating temperatures, and do not in any way affect the product's performance or shelf life.

Packaging with new label (as shown in the display images) will be available for order soon.

 

We all are unique and so is our skin. It is possible that an ingredient may not suit everyone alike and one may develop an allergic reaction in certain cases. Why these ingredients?

Fig Oil helps keep the skin soft, supple, and hydrated, by locking in moisture.

Vanilla Extract helps neutralise free radical damage and promotes skin healing. It also has a soothing effect on the skin.

Why this source?

Our Fig Oil comes from Turkey because it is native to this country and extends the perfect Mediterranean climate for these fruits to grow beautifully. 

Our Vanilla Extract comes from India because its hot and humid climate with moderate rainfall is most conducive to grow vanilla.

Our Blood Orange Essential Oil comes from Sicily (Italy) because it grows extremely well in and around the volcanic environmental conditions created by Mount Etna.
