This moisturiser is suitable for everyday use and is recommended for All Skin Types (Not for Acne-Prone Skin). 

 

PATCH TEST is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product on inner elbow and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product the skin. If the skin is sensitive, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the product and consult a dermatologist.

Juicy Chemistry products are safe for use during pregnancy and nursing. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, it’s always recommended to check with your medical practitioner before introducing new products to your routine.

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your skin may go under a detox before you start observing results. This detox period is commonly referred to as Skin Purge which results in a temporary acne flare-up.

The skin purge period varies from individual to individual and can last up to 4 to 6 weeks.

Should you continue using the product if your skin purges?

Yes, you can continue to use the product if it's skin purge and not an allergic reaction. Eventually, you'll notice the skin starts clearing out between the 4th to 6th week.

We would recommend consulting a dermatologist to check if it’s a skin purge or a reaction.

Additional Notes

Our organic body butters are preservative free. It is advisable to store them away from moisture or any kind of water contamination.

Scoop out the butter only on dry and clean palms/utensils. Secure the cap tightly after each use.

Use these butters within 6 months from opening.

During high temperatures, the pure butters in the product tend to melt. You may refrigerate the butter to regain the desired consistency, but DO NOT put them in the FREEZER.

Texture changes in 100% organic products happen naturally under fluctuating temperatures, and do not in any way affect the product's performance or shelf life.

Packaging with new label (as shown in the display images) will be available for order soon.

Yes. A few good washes with soap and warm water will take the greasiness of the cream normally away. Dry them well and tubs would be ready for the next use.

Why these ingredients?

Mango Seed Butter is rich in fatty acids that moisturise and nourish the skin, thereby enhancing its texture. 

Argan Oil is rich in vitamin E, oleic Acid, natural squalene and phytosterols that help restore strength and moisture to the skin. 

Shea Butter is rich in omega - 6 and -9 fatty acids (linoleic and oleic acids) and vitamins A and E. It is ultra-nourishing and moisturising, which is why it helps soften, soothe,and tone the skin.

Why this source?

Our Mango Seed Butter comes from India because the Mango fruit is well-suited to a tropical and warm climate. 

Our Argan Oil comes from Morocco because it is native to this country and provides the perfect semi-desert forest environment with low rainfall that aids its growth. 

Our Shea Butter comes from Ghana because the Shea trees grow naturally in the Savannah belt of West to East Africa which expands  from Senegal to Sudan, and onto the foothills of the Ethiopian Highlands.

Mango Seed Butter is extracted from the seed of the Mango, referred to as the King of Fruits. Mango Butter is a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It deeply moisturises the skin and reduces moisture loss.
