This Phyto-retinol Advanced Serum Moisturiser is suitable for everyday AM/PM use and is recommended for ALL skin types. 

PATCH TEST is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product on your jawline/inner elbow and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product to your face. For sensitive skin, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the use of the product and consult a dermatologist.

Juicy Chemistry products are safe for use during pregnancy and nursing. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, it’s always recommended to check with your medical practitioner before introducing new products to your routine.

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your skin may go under a detox before you start observing results. This detox period is commonly referred to as Skin Purge which results in a temporary acne flare-up.

The skin purge period varies from individual to individual and can last up to 4 to 6 weeks.

Should you continue using the product if your skin purges?

Yes, you can continue to use the product if it's skin purge and not an allergic reaction. Eventually, you'll notice the skin starts clearing out between the 4th to 6th week.

We would recommend consulting a dermatologist to check if it’s a skin purge or a reaction.

Revinage

Revinage is a plant-based retinol-like molecule extracted from Murumuru Butter, Bidens Pilosa, Linseed Oil, and Cotton Seed Oil. It mimics Retinol and performs through the same retinoid receptors in the skin to help visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, expression lines, and uneven skin tone. It promotes collagen synthesis and regulates cell proliferation, realignment, and renewal in the epidermis. Being a vegan extract, it is gentler on the skin and even safe for sensitive skin types. It also exhibits antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Moringa

Native to India, Moringa is known for its skin brightening properties. Its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties help soothe irritated and inflamed skin. It also helps delay appearance of signs of ageing like fine lines and supports a healthy skin barrier.

Aloe Vera Juice

With up to 96% water content, Aloe Vera Juice is exceptionally hydrating and nourishing for the skin. Owing to its high vitamin and mineral content, it also helps improve moisture retention, and soothes sensitive and sun-damaged skin.

Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate

This plant-derived emulsifying and thickening agent helps hold the texture of the product and gives it a lightweight, silky finish that is easily accepted by the skin. It is a gentle ingredient and is suitable for sensitive skin types.

Xanthan Gum

A plant-based hydrocolloid, Xanthan Gum is a natural thickening, stabilizing, and emulsifying agent. It also helps improve the stability of the product.

Glyceryl Stearate

An ester of glycerine and stearic acid, it acts as an excellent skin conditioning and moisturising agent. It also acts as a humectant and prevents moisture loss from the skin.

Jojoba Oil

Also known as 'liquid wax', Jojoba oil has a texture similar to our skin's sebum. It acts as an excellent emollient and absorbs effortlessly.

Dicaprylyl Carbonate

Dicaprylyl Carbonate acts as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent. It also helps enhance the texture to make it more comfortable on the skin.

Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate

Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate is a skin conditioning agent. It also acts as a texture enhancer and binding agent in the formulation.

Octyldodecanol

Octyldodecanol is a naturally derived fatty alcohol that acts as an excellent solvent and also helps as a humectant to prevent moisture loss.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Bearing a nutty-toasty aroma, Rosehip seed oil is abundantly rich in Vitamin A and C. It helps replenish collagen levels, reduces pigmentation and improves the skin's ability to retain moisture.

Grapefruit Essential Oil

With more than 92% water content, Grapefruit oil is widely used in aromatherapy owing to its intoxicating citric scent. It also exhibits antibacterial and antioxidant properties that promote overall skin health.

Bakuchiol

Did you know that Bakuchiol works through the same receptors in our skin as Retinol? Structurally, Bakuchiol and Retinol are not the same. However, both ingredients are proven to boost the same type of collagen fibres in skin cells but Bakuchiol is comparatively gentler on skin. Bakuchiol has the ability to penetrate deep into the skin and activate cellular turnover and boost collagen renewal. It helps reduce pigmentation and improve skin's elasticity and firmness. It is also anti-inflammatory and sensitive skin friendly.

Rosemary Essential Oil

Rosemary, a perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, and needle-like leaves, exhibits strong antioxidant properties that help soothe and nourish inflamed skin.

Benzyl Alcohol & Salicylic Acid & Glycerin & Sorbic Acid

The combination of Benzyl Alcohol & Salicylic Acid & Glycerin & Sorbic Acid acts as a broad-spectrum preservative.
