We're extremely curious people. We can only assume you too are curious when it comes to the world of personal care, and rightfully so. That’s why we insist on addressing the ‘Whys’ you'd need to know before you buy.

      Why these ingredients?

Ginger Essential Oil is rich in phenols and flavonoids. It helps stimulate blood circulation in the scalp and protects against free radical damage.

      Why this source?

Our Neem Butter comes from India because the country provides the perfect deep and well-drained sandy soil for this tree to grow with its best nutrient profile.

Our Pumpkin Seed Oil comes from India because this country is the second-largest producer of the same, and its rich and loamy soils are highly suitable for the cultivation of pumpkin.

Our Ginger Essential Oil comes from India because Ginger is well-suited to the warm and humid climate of the country.

      Why this formulation?

Antioxidants, such as flavonoids, are found in plant oils and essential oils and that protect the scalp and hair from free radical damage.

Plant Vitamins such as Vitamins C and E nourish and moisturise the scalp and hair.

Plant Oils are rich in saturated and unsaturated fatty acids such as palmitic, omega 3 and stearic acids, among others, that soften and condition the hair.

      Care & patch test

This hair mask is suitable for an Itchy and Flaky scalp.

      PATCH TEST FOR HAIR MASKS
A patch test is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product to your hairline and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product to your scalp and hair. If the scalp is sensitive, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the product and consult a dermatologist.

      Disclaimer

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your scalp may go under a transition before you start observing results. You may also encounter hair fall during this adjustment phase.
Losing 50 to 100 strands a day is absolutely normal as new hair tends to replace the lost ones.

Our hair goes through 3 phases :

Anagen - during this phase, our hair grows actively and it can last for years.

Phase 1 : Catagen - during the phase, the hair stops growing and separates from the follicle (structure beneath the skin that holds the hair). This phase lasts for about 10 days.

Phase 2 : Telogen - during this phase, the hair goes into rest mode for a couple of months and then finally falls out. Normally, only 6 - 8 % of our hair goes into this phase
However, if the number of strands you lose every day increases considerably we would recommend consulting a dermatologist to ascertain the cause and take remedial actions.

      Additional Notes

Our organic hair masks are undiluted and unrefined. It is advisable to store them away from moisture or any kind of water contamination.

Hair fall when masking is a common phenomenon and occurs because after applying the hair mask, the scalp softens and loose hair strands break away. To minimise hair fall, you can comb your hair prior to applying the product.

Pump the masks only on dry and clean palms/utensils. Secure the cap tightly after each use.

Use these oils within 6 months from opening.

You may refrigerate these oils, but DO NOT put them in the FREEZER. Masks might turn cloudy due to refrigeration, but not to worry their quality will remain unaffected. Just place the bottle in a bowl of warm water to regain consistency.

Packaging with new label (as shown in the display images) will be available for order soon.

      Juicy Lab Card

All-natural ingredients make our products completely safe and biodegradable, so that not even the tiniest bit of residue harms the soil.

Didn’t even come out of the bottle

The mask didn’t even come out if the pump and it isn’t even winters yet! had to use whatever little I could after opening the cap and scooping from the tiny straw like thing attached to the pump. Could barely scoop out even enough to cover the scalp.

      Hi Amisha,

The reason the hair mask is not dispensing is due to the cooler temperatures in your region , like pure ghee or coconut oil will solidify in cold temperatures , butters also tend to thicken up in cold conditions. You will simply have to put the product in a warm water bath covering half the bottle from the bottom and you will see that the product comes back to a liquid state and will be easily dispensable by the pump. We do not use stabilisers , emulsifiers or petrochemicals to give the product a texture or consistency, the products natural physical and chemical properties are always kept intact to deliver nutrients and essential fatty acids on application.

      Regards,

      Juicy Chemistry.
