The facility
Where science meets organic integrity
When Juicy Chemistry outgrew its kitchen lab in 2014, the Ashers made a decision that would define the brand: build the facility from the ground up to be COSMOS compliant before production begins, not after. Not certification as a retrofit. Certification as the architecture.
The Coimbatore lab is India's first manufacturing facility to hold full COSMOS V4 Standard organic certification from Ecocert France across its entire product range. That means the certification covers not just the products, but every process that produces them: ingredient storage, mixing, filling, packaging, labelling, quality control, and waste handling.
The process
From raw material to finished product
Ingredient sourcing
Every raw material sourced from certified organic farms. Traceability documents required before any ingredient enters the facility.
R&D formulation
Pritesh Asher and the in-house team develop every formula. Trial batches. Stability testing. Sensory evaluation. Iteration until the formula is right.
Quality control
Every batch is tested against the specification before production continues. pH, viscosity, microbial load, and active concentration were all verified in-house.
Small-batch production
We believe freshness is the key to efficacy. That's why every formula is made in deliberately small batches.
Dispatch and traceability
Every batch is numbered, dated, and logged before leaving the facility. Full production records are retained for every SKU sold.

State FDA Licence
Tamil Nadu Food and Drug Administration manufacturing licence, as required under India's Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Every product manufactured in compliance with GMP standards.
PETA Certified
Certification verifying that no product or ingredient is tested on animals at any stage of development. Beauty that's accountable to every living thing, not just the person using it.
Quality Assurance
International standard for quality management systems. Confirms that every process in the facility meets a documented, repeatable standard with continuous improvement protocols.
COSMOS V4 Standard Organic by Ecocert France
The highest global standard for organic cosmetics. Covers ingredient sourcing, formulation, manufacturing process, packaging, and labelling. India's first brand to certify its entire product range.

From the farm to the formula
The COSMOS standard requires that every farmer who supplies ingredients to Juicy Chemistry must themselves be certified organic. This is not a voluntary aspiration. It is a certification requirement audited annually by Ecocert.
Ingredients are sourced from specific growing regions chosen because the soil, climate, and cultivation conditions produce measurably higher active content than commodity alternatives. Origin is not a story. It is a chemistry decision.
What you never get when you choose Juicy Chemistry
The easiest way to understand what makes a product organic is to understand what it does not contain. Every ingredient below has a plant-derived, certified-compliant alternative that performs the same function without the associated risk, environmental burden, or dishonesty.
Quality control
Testing that matches the standard claimed
Organic certification from Ecocert is not awarded once and held indefinitely. It requires an annual audit of every certified product, every process, every supplier relationship, and every claim made on the label. Any change to a formula or supplier requires resubmission and re-approval before the product can continue carrying the certification mark.
This is why COSMOS certification is meaningful. It cannot be gamed, inherited, or maintained through inertia. It has to be earned, repeatedly.
