How do I use it?

Step 1:

Rub the soap between your palms and work up a lather.

Step 2:

Spread lather on your wet body with gentle strokes.

Step 3:

Scrub your body gently with JC's Bath Mitt (twice a week only).

Step 4:

Wash off with lukewarm water.

Step 5:

Pat dry with a soft towel and apply your favourite JC moisturiser.

Care & Patch Test

This soap bar is suitable for everyday use for ALL skin types. 

PATCH TEST is advisable before adding a new product to your routine. Apply the product on your inner elbow/jawline and observe for the next 24 hours. If there’s no reaction, you can apply the product to your face. If the skin is sensitive, continue the test for 7 days. This helps ensure you are not allergic to any ingredient. If irritation occurs, please discontinue the product and consult a dermatologist.

Disclaimer

If you have switched to an all-natural/organic product for the first time, your skin may go under a detox before you start observing results. This detox period is commonly referred to as Skin Purge that results in a temporary acne flare-up.

The skin purge period varies from individual to individual and can last up to 4 to 6 weeks. 

Should you continue using the product if skin purges? 

Yes, you can continue to use the product if it's skin purge and not an allergic reaction. Eventually, you'll notice the skin starts clearing out between the 4th to 6th week. 

We would recommend consulting a dermatologist to check if it’s a skin purge or a reaction.

Additional Notes

  • While cleansing, be careful and avoid getting the product inside the eyes as it might sting. Please refer to our tutorial for a better understanding. 
  • Since our soaps are completely free from preservatives, they should be used within 6 months of opening.

Our Coconut Oil comes from India because the Coconut tree grows particularly well in the coastal belt of this country, owing to its warm and highly humid climate alongside sandy soils. 

Our Peppermint Essential Oil comes from India because the northern part of this country provides the ideal sunny weather with moderate rains for the growth of peppermint.

Coconut Oil is a highly moisturising oil, rich in Lauric acid, a fatty acid, which makes our soap superfatted. This leaves the skin nourished and replenished post cleansing.
