When powdered, it has a lovely texture which works wonderfully in a face masks & scrubs. When applied on skin, green tea provides a much needed boost of anti-oxidants which combat free radicals.

Aavaram Senna Flowers
Aavaram flowers (Cassia auriculata) are a traditional Indian herbal remedy for glowing skin. These commonly found flowers are great to treat dark spots and uneven skin tone. Regular use keeps the skin smooth and blemish free.

Rose Petals
We use crushed rose petals in our body scrubs to give you an extra hit of luxury. These petals contain rose oil which has many properties including astringent and soothing properties. It tones skin and acts as a wonderful deodorant.

Kashmiri Saffron
This precious ingredient is mythical all on its own. Our Kashmiri Saffron (Crocus sativus) has been used in beauty therapies for centuries. Saffron is a wonderful skin-brightener, astringent, and acts as a toner.

Pomegranate
Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a powerful anti-oxidant and anti-ageing ingredient. It is a powerful exfoliant, and has rejuvenative properties. We use this ingredient in our scrub for the effect it has on cellular regeneration.

Black sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum) are full of essential fatty acids that are extremely beneficial to the skin. It works to repair skin by clearing acne and clearing away dead skin to provide a healthy glow.

Lavender
Lavender (Lavandula) flowers provide a lovely fragrance to any product. They also contain powerful anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and work to prevent infection when used.

Chamomile
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is one of the most versatile ingredients. When used in skin care products, it gives instant relief to irritated, sensitive skin.

Peppermint (Mentha) has effective cooling properties and it is very useful to soothe the skin. It also improves circulation and acts as an astringent.

Another derivative from the cacao tree (Theobroma cacao), cocoa powder is used in skin care products due to its powerful antioxidant properties. It also helps to heal damaged skin and soothes acne and other skin ailments.

Vanilla Bean
Vanilla seeds have a beautifully sweet and comforting aroma. Natural vanilla beans are the dried, unripe fruit of an orchid (Vanilla planifolia). As a skin care ingredient, not only does it infuse products with a gorgeous scent, it also treats acne, soothes burns, promotes healthy skin, and acts as an anti-ageing element.
Walnut
Walnut (Juglans regia) is a nut full of healthy oils which is very beneficial to the skin. Its hard outer shell is powdered and used in face scrubs. We use walnut for its nutritive and moisturising properties. It reduces inflammation, plumps and adds a glow to the skin.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a common cooking herb which has a aniseed flavour. It is used to treat inflammation and stomach ailments. It is very beneficial to oily skin as it has anti-microbial properties. It also cleanses and decongests making it beneficial to skin that is prone to blemishes.

Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) is a common Tamil herb which is renowned for its cooling abilities. It is a natural antiseptic and it is used to prevent acne. It also promotes skin regeneration and prevents skin ageing.

Avocado
Avocados are high in beta-carotene, lecithin, fatty acids, potassium and protein, not usually found in fruit. They are high in vitamins A and D and contain more vitamin E than any other fruit. Avocado pulp is rich, nourishing, and moisturizing leaving skin feeling soft and smooth.
Banana
Bananas are rich in minerals, antioxidants and vitamins and are high in sucrose, fructose and glucose (natural sugars). The sugar’s fruit acids are natural exfoliants that help slough off dead skin and revitalize dull skin. They also contain anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that may help fight acne.

Carrot Juice
Carrots are rich in antioxidants which fight tissue damage caused by free radicals, help rejuvenate sun-exposed and mature skin and may help with wrinkles. The soothing properties of carrots have been used to treat dermatitis, eczema, and rashes.
Coconut milk
Rich in natural antiseptic fatty acids, coconut milk, gently removes impurities without drying sensitive skin. Coconut milk has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. It is widely used to soothe dry skin and scalps.

Cucumber Juice

Tomato
Tomatoes help refine enlarged pores and provide and help improve complexion. Naturally high in the antioxidant lycopene, Tomatoes belong to a class of compounds called carotenes. Carotenes can scavenge free radicals and block visible and UV-light.

Yoghurt
Yogurt moistures, softens and rejuvenates the skin. Milk and yogurt contain lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that helps the remove dead skin cells and hydrate leaving skin refreshed and clear. Yogurt is very rich and nourishing and is helpful for all skin types, even sensitive and delicate.
